We Moved

We moved into the apartment! There are still some little things to finish but the works are mostly done. We’ve unpacked all but three boxes and will recycle the cardboard on Monday. The kitchen is wonderful. We’ve spent the afternoon trying to understand how to work the microwave/oven combo. It crisps, broils, and can even microwave and cook at the same time. We just haven’t figured out yet why we would need to do this.

New Years in the Turks & Caicos

We spent New Years in Turks and Caicos with Greg’s family. Perfect weather, more snorkeling, lots of swimming and relaxing on the beach…

Snorkeling in the Bahamas

We went snorkeling twice and saw tons of beautiful coral and fish. Greg actually went diving the first day. I took a photo of him when I was snorkeling above. The highlight of the trip for me was seeing a sea turtle!

Christmas in the Bahamas

Greg and I spent four days in the Bahamas (Marsh Harbor) with my parents on their sailboat. We celebrated Christmas on the boat. My mom hung lights on the rigging and decorated two small trees. She even made a Christmas ham and all the fixings.

Appartment Renovations

The apartment was supposed to be ready Saturday. It wasn't. It was supposed to be ready Wednesday. It wasn't. It was supposed to be ready today. It wasn't. Now it's supposed to be ready Saturday. Fingers crossed it's finished soon because we're moving-in next Thursday. Here are some pictures of the apartment almost finished. The living room, hallway, kitchen (cabinets and appliances will be delivered tomorrow), and the toilet.

Brooke and Brian's Visit

Brooke and Brian came to visit from Austin, TX. We spent the weekend together in Brittany. We went on a long bike ride along the coast. While the weather was gloomy when they were in Paris, most the weekend in Brittany was sunny.
