Come on! How come I can't go body surfing?!?
Lucie wanted to explore the beach, and find out what all could be eaten (most things, it turns out).
After all the crawling and eating was done, she finally went down for a nap (last day only).
Because Lucie is a very lucky baby, her father makes her wake up at the crack of dawn to go visit ruins (ok ok, she's usually the one who gets her parents up at the crack of dawn: never heard of a vacation, little one?). Anyway, because she's very lucky, she gets to have her very own parasol as she tours the Greek antiquities. It has a certain 'Death on the Nile' cachet...
These particularly glorious ruins are near Agrigento, which is a city with no other redeeming value whatsoever.

At the beach

Lucie put on her sunglasses to ensure that she'd be the styliest girl on the beach.
Sciacca has been known since Greek times for its thermal baths. We went to the pool, which was very warm and salty. Lucie enjoyed floating around.
In the kiddy pool, Lucie made a splash.
We hit the beach at Eraclea Minoa, with beautiful white cliffs and a pine strand to boot. It was very hot, and so we hid under the pine trees for some of the day.
One of the most fun things to do at the beach is to climb all over papa.
He's got such a tasty nose!
After a while, Lucie graduated from swimming at the pool to swimming at the beach.
She even went surfing.Lucie and Michele ponder whether to go in.Then Lucie makes a break for it.
